Cael blends engineering logic with marketing creativity. With a background in mechanical engineering and data-driven problem-solving, he approaches every campaign like a system to be optimized.
I was born in Datong, China, and adopted by my loving Cuban parents when I was a baby. I grew up in the tight-knit community of Key Largo, where the ocean and small-town calm shaped my early sense of curiosity and focus. Eventually, I moved to Miami, a city full of energy, culture, and ambition - the perfect environment for someone determined to create, design, and build a meaningful future.
I’m currently a Mechanical Engineering major in the Miami Dade College Honors College (Kendall Campus). My goal is to complete my Associate in Arts degree here and transfer to Caltech to continue my studies in engineering and innovation.
At MDC, I’m not just focused on academics - I’m deeply involved in campus life. I’ve served as Treasurer for the Future Finance Leaders, participated in Math4U tutoring, and engaged with SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) to connect with others passionate about STEM and leadership. These experiences have taught me not only technical skills, but also how to manage time, collaborate effectively, and lead with purpose.
I’ve always been fascinated by how things work - from engines and cars to complex systems that move our world. My dream is to design, build, and innovate in ways that make technology more efficient and accessible. Whether it’s starting a Formula SAE team at MDC, exploring aerospace engineering, or designing visual projects like Feeddify, I bring curiosity and creativity to everything I do.
Outside of school, I work hard, plan strategically, and stay disciplined. I’m known for keeping organized schedules, building budgets, and setting clear goals. I value structure - not to limit myself, but to free up time for creativity, learning, and meaningful relationships.
I also love connecting ideas: blending engineering with business, technology with design, and ambition with community. Whether it’s volunteering, working on a side project, or learning something new, I see each experience as a step toward becoming the engineer - and person - I want to be.
My journey started across the world and continues to grow here in Miami. Every day, I’m driven by a mix of gratitude, curiosity, and persistence.
